Save a scene to your library
Save a scene in the web editor to your library, then add it to any video from the Create panel or delete it later.
Save a scene to your library to reuse it in other videos, with its edits, overlays and layout intact. The library belongs to your account, so a scene you save in one video is there in every other.
Save a scene
- Right-click the scene in the timeline, or open the More menu at the top of the Scene panel.
- Choose Save to library.
A message confirms Saved to your library, with an Open library button that jumps straight to it.
The whole scene is saved, including its screen and camera, layout, cuts, zooms, overlays, audio and transcript.
- A scene can't be saved while it is still processing, for example while its video, transcript or enhanced audio is being prepared. Save it once it is done.
- An empty scene can't be saved. Add something to it first.
- Saving the same scene again without changing it doesn't add a duplicate. Screenity tells you it is Already in your library. If you changed it, the new version is saved as its own entry with a number added to the name.
Note:A saved scene uses your original recording instead of a copy of it. If that recording is deleted before you reuse the scene, Screenity adds the scene without the missing media and tells you what was left out.
Add a saved scene to a video
- Open the video you want to add it to and select the scene it should follow.
- Open Create and choose the Library tab.
- Select a saved scene.
The scene is added after the selected one. If the selected scene is blank, as in a new project, the saved scene takes its place. You can undo it like any other edit.
The Library tab loads more scenes as you scroll. If it is empty, it reminds you to right-click a scene and choose Save to library. For ready-made scenes, use the Templates tab instead. See Work with scenes and the timeline.
Delete a saved scene
Hover over a scene in the Library tab and select the delete icon, labeled Delete from library. Confirm when asked. The scene leaves your library for good, but videos that already use it keep their copy.
Your library holds up to 1,000 scenes. At the limit, Screenity asks you to delete some before saving more.
