The free Chrome extension will always stay free and open source. It lets you record unlimited videos locally with no limits. Pro adds a full web platform with cloud storage, link sharing, multi-scene editing, zooms, templates, layouts, and seamless integration with the extension.

Yes! If you record using the extension, a shareable link will be automatically copied when you finish. Just send it to anyone to let them watch. When editing a video, you choose when updates go live by manually publishing new versions. You can also make videos private any time in the sharing settings.

Pro includes an Instant Mode: record something, get a shareable link right away, and skip editing if you want. You can always come back later to turn it into a fully editable video.

Yep! Once you're happy with your video, you can request a render to download it as an MP4 file. This is needed if your video includes animations, zooms, scene transitions, or templates. You get 10 exports per month (we plan to increase this). Instant Mode also lets you download quickly without rendering.

When you record with the extension, Screenity Pro can automatically add smart zooms as you click, like zooming in, zooming out, or holding the zoom to focus on what matters. It's great for tutorials and walkthroughs. You can also fine-tune or add zooms manually later. Just note: automatic zooms only work inside the browser while recording.

Screenity Pro can generate transcriptions of everything you say, word by word. You can view them as full text or as captions split into segments. Transcriptions are processed securely on EU-based servers using a local AI model. Your audio never leaves our infrastructure. Right now, transcription is only available in English, but more languages are coming soon.

Your videos (including storage, rendering, and transcription) are all handled on EU-based infrastructure. We don’t use US cloud providers, we don’t run ads or trackers, and we don’t sell your data.

Nope! Your price is locked in forever. Early Access pricing is reduced while we onboard new users and keep building out the platform. As long as your subscription stays active, you’ll always keep this lower rate. We’d also love your feedback to help shape what comes next.
