The **Share** dialog controls what viewers see on an individual video and how playback behaves.

_Video: Open Share and Customize viewer, turn off the transcript and chapters for viewers, then open Call to action and add a button that appears on the share page._

1. Open the video and select **Share**.
2. Select **Customize viewer**. Under **Viewer options**, turn **Copy link button**, **Transcript**, **Chapters**, **Allow comments**, **Reactions**, **Show my name** and **Show view count** on or off.
3. Under **Video**, choose the **Playback speed** viewers start at and, if available, how **Captions** start.
4. Check the preview beside the options, or select **Open full preview** to see the page in the editor's Preview.

A transcript requires transcribed audio. These options control the viewer experience. They do not replace editing captions in the project.

## Set defaults for new videos

To choose default viewer options for new videos, open **Settings** → **Viewer** → **Page options**. You can set whether new videos show a copy-link button, transcript, your name, view count, comments or reactions, and choose the starting playback speed and caption behavior. Each video can have its own settings in the **Share** dialog.

For other account defaults, such as the default recorder, transcription language or search indexing, see [Set recording and sharing preferences](https://screenity.io/help/account-settings/manage-preferences).

## Add a call to action

Call-to-action buttons can direct viewers to a relevant page, such as a booking link or a resource mentioned in the video. They appear beneath the title and description on the share page.

1. In **Share** → **Customize viewer**, open **Call to action**.
2. Select **Add a button**, enter its label and destination link, and choose a button color. You can add a second button with **Add another button**. Select **Save** when you're done.
3. Under **Where they show**, choose whether the buttons appear over the video in embeds. You can also add UTM tags to distinguish visits in your analytics.
4. Under **End screen**, choose whether to show the buttons over the last frame beside Replay, and optionally set a headline.
5. Check the preview and test the links on the share page and any embed.

You can set the default call-to-action buttons in **Settings** → **Viewer** → **Call to action**. Videos without their own call-to-action use that account default. In a video's **Share** → **Call to action** settings, choose **Reset to default** to have that video follow the account default again. Existing videos keep their own settings. Call-to-action controls may not be available for every account. An embed also has its own option to show or hide the buttons.
