> Upload images once and reuse them in any video, then search or delete your uploads from the media library in the web editor.

The media library holds the images you upload in the web editor. It belongs to your account, so an image you add in one video is there the next time you open the picker in another.

## Add an image from the library

1. Select a scene, then choose **Image** in the top bar of the editor.
2. Pick an image from the grid to place it on the scene, or upload a new one.
3. Move, resize and time the image like other overlays. See [Add text and overlays](https://screenity.io/help/web-editor/add-text-and-overlays).

The picker accepts PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF files up to 10 MB. Images you used as backdrops or as scene images also appear in the grid.

## Upload images

- Drag files onto the picker. **Drop to upload** appears while you drag.
- Paste an image from the clipboard.
- Choose **Upload** and select files.

Each upload shows its progress in the grid. Use **Cancel upload** to stop one, or **Retry** on a card that failed. Once an upload finishes, the image is placed on the scene.

## Search the library

Type in **Search by name…** to filter the grid by file name. If nothing matches, the grid says **No results** for your search, with a **Clear** button. The grid loads more images as you scroll.

## Delete an image

Hover over an image and select the **x** that appears, labeled **Delete permanently**. The file is removed from your library. If the image is still used by another video, Screenity keeps it and tells you the file is still in use by another project.
