# Undo edits and save your project

> Undo and redo edits in the web editor, and check the save indicator to confirm your project changes have synced.

The editor saves project changes automatically. Exporting or downloading is separate from saving.

## Undo or redo

Use the **Undo** and **Redo** controls in the editor to reverse or reapply available edits. You can also press `Ctrl+Z` (Windows/Linux) or `Command+Z` (Mac) to undo and `Ctrl+Shift+Z` (Windows/Linux) or `Command+Shift+Z` (Mac) to redo (`Control` + `Y` also redoes on Windows/Linux). Review the preview after restoring an edit.

## Check saving

The status indicator shows when changes are saved or synced. If you are offline, syncing pauses. If a saving warning says your latest changes have not saved, keep the tab open and follow the message. A project in Trash must be restored before changes can be saved.
