Add a frame to make a screen recording look like it is playing on a device or in a browser. These controls are available for scenes with a screen source.

1. Select a scene with a screen source and open **Style** in the editor.
2. In the **Screen** section, select the current frame to open the frame picker.
3. Choose **No frame**, **Minimal**, **Chrome**, **Safari**, **MacBook Pro**, or **iPhone Pro**.
4. Review the preview. Use the frame's available controls to customize it.

## Customize a frame

The controls depend on the selected frame:

- **Chrome** and **Safari** can show a website address. Chrome also lets you change the tab title and icon.
- **Chrome**, **Safari**, and **Minimal** can use dark mode.
- **iPhone Pro** has a status bar option.
- **Minimal** lets you adjust the border thickness.

Phone and laptop frames have a fixed shape, so choosing one can adjust the screen crop to fit. Check the crop, and use **Crop** to change which part of the source shows. The frame doesn't change the canvas aspect ratio or trim the recording. For more about cropping, see [Crop and frame your video](https://screenity.io/help/web-editor/crop-and-frame). To change the size and arrangement of the screen and camera, use [Change camera and screen layouts](https://screenity.io/help/web-editor/change-layouts).

When a layout hides the screen source, its frame controls stay visible but dimmed. Some options only show for frames that support them. To copy the selected scene's style to the rest of the video, choose **Apply styling to all scenes** in the Style panel. This also copies other available settings, such as camera appearance and audio enhancement, so review the affected scenes.
