# Delete your account

> Permanently delete your Screenity account from Settings, and learn what happens to your videos and subscription.

Deleting your account permanently deletes your videos, recordings and associated data. The confirmation also tells you if your subscription will be canceled. [Download anything you want to keep](https://screenity.io/help/web-exporting/export-a-video) first.

1. Open **Settings** and choose **Profile**.
2. Under **Danger zone**, select **Delete account**.
3. Read the warning, type **DELETE**, and select **Confirm delete**.

If Screenity cannot cancel a subscription that needs cancellation, account deletion stops and nothing is deleted. Try again, or contact support.
